屬於所有人的廣場

田野廣場也被稱為賽馬廣場（Piazza del Campo），是人們聚會的第一選擇，同時也是遊戲、政治、市集這些大小活動的舉辦地。這座城市所有街道都通向擁有七個入口的廣場，從不同方向進入廣場後，第一眼看到的風景也不大相同，一側映入眼簾的是內部建築，另一側則可以看到矗立的高塔（Torre del Mangia）全景。

A Square for everyone

The Piazza del Campo, also known as the Horse Race Square, is the first choice for gatherings and is also the venue for various activities such as games, politics, and markets. All the streets of the city lead to the square, which has seven entrances. The first view upon entering the square from different directions varies; on one side, you see the internal buildings, while on the other side, you can see the full view of the towering Torre del Mangia.

歷久彌新的狂歡

曾幾何時，錫耶納（Siena）的輝煌可以與巴黎並肩，歷經中世紀瘟疫的肆虐後，人口急劇下降，讓這座城市難以恢復過往盛況。

A Timeless Celebration

Once upon a time, the glory of Siena could rival that of Paris. After the ravages of the medieval plague, the population sharply declined, making it difficult for the city to regain its former prosperity. Everything in Siena happens in the square. It is a place embedded in the memories and lives of the people. Even today, various celebrations during the February Carnival, outdoor municipal activities under the summer starry sky, and Siena’s most important event—the Palio—are still held here.
